ABOUT
The primrose is a delicate flower that heralds the arrival of spring, bringing with it the promise of longer days and milder temperatures. Its name, "primrose," derives from the late Latin form "prima vera", composed of "prima", meaning "first" (feminine), and "vera", meaning "spring" (in classical Latin, "ver, veris"). Evoking renewal and youth, the primrose is often seen as a symbol of freshness and vitality. It embodies the blossoming of a nascent love, spontaneous and brimming with youthful energy, much like the first buds that appear after winter.
The shade "nymph’s thigh" refers to a very light pink, a soft and subtle hue that recalls delicacy and purity. This specific color was chosen for its resemblance to the stone adorning our jewelry, a precious stone imbued with gentleness and romance.
This silver pendant features a floral design inspired by the primrose. The two superimposed silver layers have irregular edges, mimicking the natural cut of primrose petals. Every detail is designed to capture the essence of this spring flower. At the center of this creation is a light pink corundum, also known as pink sapphire, faceted to capture the light and reflect a soft and warm glow. This pink sapphire symbolizes the heart of the flower, adding a touch of delicate and refined color to the piece of jewelry.
This necklace celebrates the beauty of nature and the finesse of craftsmanship. It evokes feelings of tenderness and renewal, perfect for marking a special moment or for reminding someone of the joy of a blossoming love.
