Oriental perfume bracelet invites us on an enchanting journey to the East, particularly Iran, the birthplace of the paisley motif found on many textiles from the region. This oriental vegetal motif, also known as Paisley, is iconic for its teardrop shape with a curved tip, symbolizing the Iranian-origin patterns called boteh.
The boteh, representing a cypress tree, is a conifer symbolizing Mithraism, a cult dedicated to an Iranian deity that primarily developed among the Romans. This motif is also linked to Zoroastrianism, where it is interpreted as the sacred flame of Zoroaster. Spreading along the Silk Road, this motif reached India, Azerbaijan, and Turkey, carrying with it rich cultural symbolism.
