The "Iris" ring is finely engraved with a frieze of iris flowers, capturing the delicacy and elegance of this iconic bloom.

The name "iris" originates from the Greek language, derived from the word Iridos, which referred to the messenger of the gods, particularly the goddess Hera’s envoy. Due to her divine role, she is often seen as the female counterpart of Hermes. As the goddess of the rainbow, Iris symbolizes the connection between earth and sky, between mortals and deities. It is because of the varied colors of its petals, with shimmering and iridescent reflections, that this flower was given its name in the 13th century.

In the language of flowers, the iris carries profound meanings: faith, courage, hope, and wisdom. It is also associated with bravery and admiration. According to some interpretations, it can symbolize inconstancy, tenderness of heart, or a love built on trust.

The iris is the birth flower of February and the flower traditionally associated with 25 years of marriage. Gifting this ring, adorned with such a powerful symbol, makes for an exceptional present—an everlasting keepsake that elegantly replaces or complements the traditional bouquet of flowers.

Thickness of the ring: this model can be made with thicknesses of 1 mm, 1.3 mm or 1.6 mm. For reference, go to the last photo of the slideshow.

The ring thickness on the model is 1.3 mm.

Important: depending on your finger size, the solder at the back of your ring will show an interruption in the pattern with a plain vertical and in order to keep an overall harmony. Each rind is custom made and each finish will also be custom made (please refer to the example picture at the end of the photo series).
