JEWELRY
INSPIRATION
The Ipomoea ring was born from a desire for botanical creation. Its silver band is finely engraved with a long, leafy stem that runs along the entire circumference, evoking the natural movement of climbing plants. It holds a small oval cabochon of light blue turquoise, whose soft hue recalls the clear sky at dawn.
The ipomoea is a climbing plant that gracefully wraps around the stems and shrubs that support it. Its funnel-shaped flowers, similar to those of bindweed, often open at dawn and close as the day progresses. In our garden in Mexico, we find Ipomoea purpurea, a variety with beautiful flowers ranging from blue to purple, sometimes enhanced with pinkish hues.
In the language of flowers, the ipomoea symbolizes devoted friendship and sincere attachment. Its ephemeral nature, with flowers that only last for a day, also imbues it with a symbolism related to the fleeting nature of time and the beauty of precious moments. Paired with turquoise, a stone of protection and communication, this ring becomes a talisman that celebrates deep bonds and the harmony between nature and the soul.
