The "Green Ginkgo" necklace centers around an oval green agate, evoking the iconic leaf of the Ginkgo biloba, a revered tree in East Asia, particularly in Japan and China. The stone is set in a silver plate, highlighted by a thick wire that spirals like a stylized branch. This wire delicately encircles the stone before blossoming into a Ginkgo leaf with typical contours and subtly suggested veins. With its deep hues and inner light, the green agate echoes the vitality and quiet strength of the Ginkgo, a tree of resilience and eternity.

The Ginkgo biloba, considered a living fossil from the time of the dinosaurs, is one of the oldest known tree species, unchanged for over 270 million years. It can withstand harsh weather, disease, pollution, and even atomic bombings – some specimens survived Hiroshima. A sacred tree in many Buddhist temples, it represents longevity, memory, hope, and peace.
