Mother of pearl flower, mandala earrings in silver and nacre
"Mother of pearl flower" is an elegant and refined pair of earrings, crafted from delicately worked silver circles. The scalloped edge gracefully evokes the shape of a large lotus leaf, a symbol of purity and tranquility. At the center, a disc is adorned with a small circular mother-of-pearl cabochon, a prized natural material known for its iridescent glow, reminiscent of the ever-changing reflections of the sea.
The entire piece is decorated with intricate stamped patterns, representing a flourish of flowers and leaves dancing around the central cabochon, creating the appearance of a mystical mandala. These repeating motifs symbolize the harmony and continuity of life, enhancing the spiritual essence of these earrings.
Under the soft glow of the moon, captured and reflected by the mother-of-pearl cabochon, the engraved mandalas bloom into perpetual flowers, offering a serene and enchanting pattern that evokes the calm of a pond bathed in the silver rays of a full moon.
