JEWELRY
INSPIRATION
The Calendula earrings are inspired by this medicinal plant with golden yellow petals, sometimes tinged with bright orange. The name Calendula refers to the marigold flower, which comes from the Latin word meaning "that follows the sun," due to its natural tendency to open and close with the rhythm of the day. A symbol of light, vitality, and protection, the marigold has long been associated with medicinal and esoteric traditions.
This pair of silver earrings takes on an elegant diamond shape, highlighting a central engraving of delicate stylized petals. At the heart of the design, an orange zircon cabochon evokes the bright intensity of the marigold in full bloom. On either side, small groups of finely carved leaves recall the plant's delicate foliage. The entire design is framed by a diamond-shaped border, with an aesthetic inspired by the typical ornaments of the Baroque and Victorian periods, further enhancing the elegance and refinement of the piece.
