ABOUT
This ring is made of sterling silver (925) made by hand in my workshop.
This sterling silver ring is a custom order made by a client and inspired by my own wedding ring.
It is composed of several coiled silver wire and which were welded together to form a network of roots. Small silver balls and a very fine silver wire just enhance this pretty ring.
The idea of this ring came to me to prepare for my wedding, thinking back to my life, to all the roads that I took to get here. Sometimes without issues tract, sometimes quick steps back, sometimes crossovers incredible situation.
Like the roots of a tree, which ensure its strength and durability, life is a weaving path, opportunities to build us to finally get to be a massive trunk, strong, good in life.
I met my husband in our teens, scraping the earth on an archeological excavation site (removing roots ^^). Life has put fifteen years to weave the thread of life that we find ourselves and that we create a life together. Experiences that have built us, on our own, to enable us to live together and understand each other.
The ring reminds me of the Greek Moirai of mythology or Roman Parcae. In the belief, they are the gods of destiny that weaves the thread of life, measured the thread of life allotted to each person with her measuring rod and cup it. Like the roots of my tree.
Polished, shiny finish.
