ABOUT
This ring was made of sterling silver (925) made by hand in my workshop.
The pattern shows a leaf of ginkgo Biloba that I really find beautiful. This is the oldest known family tree. It would have appeared 270 million years ago, that is to say forty million years before dinosaurs.
Ginkgo biloba is a sacred tree in the Orient. It is the symbol of the unity of opposites, invariability, hope, love and especially longevity. It is present in the Japanese art, including kimonos, women’s hairstyles shape... It has become an even more important symbol of hope since it was able to survive the nuclear bomb in Hiroshima.
the name of the ring comes from Ya Tchio meaning "duck’s foot", in reference to the shape of the leaves of ginkgo. This word was recently translated to Icho.
This ginkgo leaf is almost flying over the ring. A leaf was soldered on a 3 mm large sterling silver band. It was then decorated with a tiny sterling silver ball.
This ring is quite feminine. It will be perfect for a nature lover, a plant lover, a Japanese tree lover and most of all, a ginkgo leaf lover!
Polished, shiny finish.
Size: 5 1/4.
Surface: 1.4 x 1.5cm (0.551 x 0.591 inches).
Width of the band: 3 mm (0.118 inches).
