JEWELRY
INSPIRATION
ABOUT
They are composed of 925 fine silver made by hand in my workshop.
These Toltecan earrings are inspired by the designs used by the Pre-Hispanic civilization in Central America. Their art inspired me this symbolic representation of the sun, a worshipped sun by the Toltec civilization is shining intensely along with the sound of the indigenous songs.
I named this sterling silver jewelry with the name of one of the great Mesoamerican civilizations, the Toltecs. This culture of northern Mexico has developed around the archaeological site of Tula, between 900 and 1200 AD. The Toltec name comes from the Nahuatl and means "master builders". In the legends, the Toltecs are considered the founding fathers of all the civilizations of this period, including the Aztecs who claimed as their descendants to justify their superiority. They measure 5cm long.
The ear wires are also hand forged by myself in 925 fine sterling silver. They have been polished until getting this bright aspect
You have the possibility of changing the classical sterling silver eawires by sterling silver clips for non-pierced ears.
