ABOUT
It is made of sterling silver (925) made by hand in my workshop, and a beautiful rainforest jasper.
This triangular pendant is decorated with patterns inspired by the Aztec culture of Mexico. It adopts a triangular shape evoking the pyramids built by the Aztecs, especially in the sacred precinct of Tenochtitlan, their capital. It has at the top and bottom, circular shapes that evoke two important worlds of Aztec mythology and cosmology, heaven and the underworld.
This pendant is named Quetzalcoatl, referring to the feathered serpent in the Aztec civilization, because of the beautiful colors of this stone. Their green tone more or less clear reminded me of snakeskin and its orbs its eyes. There is also the link between the color and the relationship of Quetzalcoatl with agriculture who was one of his attributes since he himself would have given corn to men. This is also the God of civilization and culture. The Maya know it as Kukulkan.
This pendant measures about 5 x 2 cm.
It is signed on the back. The sole pendant is sold. Raw, oxidized and brushed finish.
It can perfectly fit for men and women.
