ABOUT
This ring is made of sterling silver (925) made by hand in my workshop.
This mandala is a unisex ring with an etched India pattern on its top. I gave it a vintage and antique look with a flower mandala.
The mandala is a Sanskrit word which means circle or circumference and by extension, environment, community. It is a universal art that you can find in many civilizations around the world, but it is particularly present in Indian cultures.
It is found in Buddhism, as a support for meditation with varied symbols, sometimes, it’s part of the offerings. In Hinduism, it is the door of communication with the gods.
This ring is really one of a kind. It is artisan etched. The etching process takes times but the result allows appreciating the intricate and delicate patterns. The bas-relief effect is really nice. The deeper part is matte and the upper part has been sanded and polished.
Etching is an artisanal process, which produces a unique design each time I use it. Two pieces with a same design will never be exactly the same by the hazards of the process. Each detail makes a unique piece.
Polished, shiny finish.
The ring is sawn in the shape of a saddle that wraps your finger.
The band is 19 mm (0.748 inches) large on top and 7 mm below (0.276 inches).
This is a custom order. Please, specify your ring size when you order it. Thanks!
