This piece features a band adorned with three iconic symbols of peace: the dove, the olive branch, and the star. Two doves, each carrying an olive branch, face each other, separated by a delicate star.

In tradition, doves represent love, fidelity, and purity. Since ancient times, these birds were offered as sacrifices to love goddesses such as Astarte and Aphrodite, symbolizing the aspiration for eternal love. In the biblical story of the Flood, a dove returns to Noah's Ark, carrying an olive branch in its beak. This act symbolizes the end of the flood and the arrival of peace. The olive branch has since become associated with reconciliation and the end of conflict. The dove, by bringing the hope of a peaceful world, thus becomes a universal symbol of peace and hope.

Doves are also seen as divine messengers, carrying the hope of regeneration, inner peace, and the restoration of human bonds. This imagery persists across cultures, where the image of the dove and olive branch conveys messages of reconciliation and new beginnings.

The star, for its part, is a rich and multifaceted symbol, with multiple interpretations. First, it represents the mysteries of the universe and the magnificence of the night sky. It fights against darkness, acting as a guiding light in the shadows, thus embodying truth and spiritual guidance. In Christian tradition, the star has also been associated with the Star of Bethlehem, guiding the Three Wise Men to the birth of Christ, symbolizing hope and divine revelation.

The star is also seen as a symbol of aspiration, representing lofty ideals and a direction toward a better future. Its role in guiding travelers, notably through its use for navigation across seas and deserts, adds another layer of direction and protection.

The combination of these three symbols—the dove, the olive branch, and the star—creates a powerful message in the design of this ring: despite the turmoil of the world, there is always a light of hope and peace to strive for. This piece, through its timeless elements, embodies a deep aspiration for unity and reconciliation, both on a personal and collective level.

Thickness of the ring: this model can be made with thicknesses of 1 mm, 1.3 mm or 1.6 mm. For reference, go to the last photo of the slideshow.

The ring thickness on the model is 1.3 mm.

Important: depending on your finger size, the solder at the back of your ring will show an interruption in the pattern with a plain vertical and in order to keep an overall harmony. Each rind is custom made and each finish will also be custom made (please refer to the example picture at the end of the photo series).
