Prussian blue, mystery color earrings in sterling silver and serpentine

They are composed of 925 fine silver made by hand in my workshop and blue serpentine jaspers.

These earrings are made of oval serpentine beads that hang delicately in your ears.

This is both the mystery of color and the blue of the gemstones that inspired me their name.
A German chemist accidentally discovers Prussian blue or Berlin blue pigment in 1706. This color had such a success with the painters that made the fortune of its discoverer who kept the secret recipe for twenty years. Meanwhile, many chemists have tried to discover the secret and imitate the recipe to take advantage of this craze. It took still more years to learn all the secrets.

A little blue, a little mystery, a beautiful jewel in your ears

They measure 4cm long.

The ear wires are also hand forged by myself in 925 fine sterling silver.

They have been polished until getting this bright aspect.

You have the possibility of changing the classical sterling silver eawires by sterling silver clips for non-pierced ears.
